SOLD OUT! Kristin Wojkowski will take us for a dip in the waters of vintage swimwear, utilizing examples from her growing collection - which includes 1920s and 30s Catalina suits - even one from Pacific Knitting Mills, the earlier name of Catalina Swimwear.
Following is a no host cocktail gathering on the roof of the Catalina Island Museum. Museum admission is required to attend the cocktail gathering. This event can accommodate 300 people. The fashion show models will circulate on the rooftop.

The Art Deco Society of Los Angeles returns to Southwestern Law School, housed in the historic 1929 Bullocks Wilshire Building to present a live fashion event, “Hollywood Deco: Art Deco Costume From Film and Stage” with a special tribute to Art Deco artist Erté, whose final costume designs for the opulent stage production “Stardust,” will be shown. The movie themed showcase of extravagant costumes (from the collection of Greg Schreiner) exhibited on live models, will take place on the weekend of this year’s Oscars.

We’ll look at jewelers to the stars Paul Flato and Traebert & Hoeffer-Mauboussin, and at the newly-popular “illusion jewels” touted by Vogue and manufactured for discerning American audiences by Napier, Miriam Haskell, and Trifari.
