The International Coalition of Art Deco Societies is a voluntary alliance of groups from around the world. Generally the members are Art Deco societies, membership-based, formally constituted and which represent a City or a region. In 2021 ICADS announced that they are declaring April 28 as World Art Deco Day. This is the date that the 1925 Worlds Fair in Paris commenced. It was called the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts, or in French, Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes.
The World Congress is in Paris in 2025.
ADSLA is represented on the ICADS board by past ADSLA president Margot Gerber (elected Nov. 2023).
