WHAT YOUR TICKET INCLUDES:
In addition to the French Tea Party described above, your ticket includes the exhibition and interaction with the curators as you explore the exquisite Art Deco interior of the private 1928 Oviatt Penthouse, discover photo opportunities all around you and enjoy socializing with friends old and new on the open air terrace - while sipping French Centennial Cocktails at our no-host bar.
ART DECO CENTENNIAL:
We mark the 100th anniversary of the Art Deco style from the April 28th opening day of the six-month long 1925 Paris Exhibition. Although no style suddenly appears fully formed, it was at this World’s Fair that moderne styles developed in various countries were first brought together on the world stage. This universally influential style inspired architects and designers who attended the Exposition to manifest their own interpretations at home. In Los Angeles the 1928 Oviatt building was directly influenced by the Exposition. Its interior is one of a handful of remaining local interiors with early Art Deco design.

Classic style contemporary sweaters, suits, blazers, vests, collared shirts, skirts, day dresses, fedoras, berets, scarfs, kimonos and slacks are all appropriate to wear to day time events. Please no sportswear, t-shirts or other casual attire. We understand that sometimes it is impossible to get home to change, so no one will be turned away, but we appreciate the effort.
The evening soirees are cocktail (or evening) attire only. Dressing in classic, chic all black is always an option.
