Return with us to an era when carefree movie stars frolicked at lavish gin-soaked mansion parties both on and off screen. We're reveling in the days of pre-code Hollywood films pushed the limits of "decency" with everything from illicit love affairs to sordid crimes that mirrored the real-life scandal sheets! The Art Deco Society of Los Angeles presents the "Pre-Code Hollywood Frolic" - an opportunity to cut a rug to Jim Ziegler's Quintet while costumed as the 1930s Hollywood starlet or Matinee Idol you've always known you are!
Jim Ziegler's Quintet will perform top tunes of the era for your dancing pleasure, plus a multitude of scandalous surprises (did someone say showgirls?)!

Hollywood Heritage Museum Pre-Code Exhibit: Step into the daring world of Pre-Code Hollywood with a special display presented by Hollywood Heritage. Featuring original artifacts from the 1920s and early 1930s, the exhibit highlights Clara Bow, the legendary “It Girl” of the silent screen and early talkies, including her negligee and original posters alongside memorabilia representing other stars and films from Hollywood’s most uninhibited era.
Through original photographs, ephemera, and historic artifacts, the display offers a glimpse into Hollywood before strict enforcement of the Production Code changed what audiences could see on the American screen.
