Join us for our monthly Art Deco Society of Los Angeles Makers Group, drop-in online socials. They are open to all members. Even if you don’t have a project to share, drop in and get inspired. You are welcome to sign up to watch and learn.

Our group moderator is Bree Wardlow who has made everything from Renaissance costumes to actual spacesuits. Bree says, “I am a sewist and creator- I specialize in historical costuming and corsets, and I love to teach others the joys of sewing as well!”
We're calling these virtual meetups “Snugs.” They are an opportunity to visit with our talented members - to share our creativity and offer peer support in working through challenges with our projects.
This is a free virtual program on Zoom for members of ADSLA, but you must reserve a ticket. The wording on the ticket page says “BUY TICKET” but you will not be charged.
Your viewing link will come to you in the confirmation you get immediately after registering. Please save the email where you can find it to Zoom in on the day of the program. Only one ticket is necessary per household/device. These programs will not be recorded as they are interactive and require live participation.

Define “Snug!”
A "snug" in the 1920s was a small, private room or enclosed area in a pub, originating in the 19th century in Ireland and the UK. These spaces provided discretion for patrons who preferred not to be seen in the main pub area, such as women, clergy, or those who wanted a more private, quieter experience away from the bustling main bar. They often featured a small window or hatch for drinks to be served, allowing patrons to remain hidden from public view while still being able to drink.
