Ice Cream Social at the Art Deco Silberberg Building

  • Gelato and Angels 7290 Beverly Boulevard Los Angeles, CA, 90036 United States (map)

The Art Deco Silberberg Building's Historic Cultural Monument designation was approved by City Council! What better way to celebrate, than to visit the businesses in this vintage retail space. It just so happens that the Silberberg Building on Beverly Boulevard at Poinsettia houses a gelato parlor, Gelato and Angels! An ice cream parlor in an Art Deco building is the perfect place to order a "frozen fountain" treat! Vegan options are also available.

Join the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles and Save Beverly Fairfax at a sweet meetup. Original flavors like “La Brea Tarpits,” “Black Hawaii” and “Cookie Attack” will enchant you with or without a brownie sundae base!

If you are in the mood for lunch first, we recommend arriving early in the historic neighborhood for a visit to Farmer's Market (1934) on Fairfax and Third. You can visit other heritage businesses like McGee’s and Little John’s Chocolates.

The Art Deco Society of Los Angeles is dedicated to promoting the use of historic buildings and patronizing the businesses in them. We hope that you will do the same in your neighborhood! This is a great example of adaptive re-use. This former insurance building is now a gelato parlor and home to several independent design shops that you can check out as well! An added incentive is, that it is near Re-Mix shoes.

This is a no-host event. There is seating inside and outside.

PARKING
The US Post Office nearby offers paid parking. There is also a park with a lot nearby. Parking meters are available on Beverly. Most of the parking in the residential section is permit only, so read signs carefully.
