But wait, there’s more! Staying on the island until Sunday? Join your fellow Deco-philes for fun in the sun, the day after the Avalon Ball at the historic Catalina Country Club. The event will provide an opportunity to enjoy no host cocktails, mingle in the bar and lovely courtyard of the historic Catalina Island Country Club and to dance. Light nibbles are provided from 12:00pm until they are gone and drinks from a full bar are available for purchase.
The theme for the Unwinder is Hollywood Backlot. Come as a Jazz Age film star, character actor (Cowboy, Gangster, etc.), director, studio mogul, or some other emblem of tinsel town. Costumes are purely optional. Vintage or vintage-inspired resort wear is also appropriate attire.
This year we are starting the Unwinder at 12 noon, one hour earlier than previous years.
Member Tickets: $28 (plus fees)
Non-Member tickets to this event are not available.
Deco level members of the Art Deco Society of Los Angeles and above, will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets. Tickets are non-refundable, but you may transfer your ticket to a friend.
Members: This popular event sells out every year. If you want to attend, buy a ticket when they go on sale. The venue is strict on capacity, so do not expect to show up on the day of the event to purchase a ticket at the door.
